Stan Mullet took over the failing Steiner Cheese house in 2011. He quickly revitalized Steiner’s marketing by working with Cassel Bear on a brand redesign. The quality and reputation of the swiss cheese that Steiner produces is underscored by the awards that Steiner has won in the recent years. Cassel Bear envisioned an energetic brand that stood out among its peers in deli coolers around the East Coast. The vibrant blues and reds of the brand complement the golden yellows of this award-winning swiss cheese manufacturer.
The Steiner logo was inspired by the edelweiss, a soft, milk-colored flower which is also a symbol of romantic nationalism in Switzerland.
