“Art is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness.”
Twin loves brought Laura Prengaman to Cassel Bear. On one hand, she’s enamored with organization and order; to-do lists hold a special place in her heart. Alternately, she’s drawn to all things visually creative: fine art, graphic design, scenic painting, and more. So it’s fitting that she serves as our Project Manager, overseeing the administrative and behind-the-scenes details that foster an environment in which the CB team can do its best design work. Plus, she’s been known to push a few pixels herself.
Keeping creative projects streamlined and in good running order is nothing new for Laura. She received her BFA in Design Technology from Otterbein College in Columbus, with a specific focus on Theatrical Stage Management and Scenic Painting. Her occupational trajectory took her to both the Goodspeed Opera House and Gervasi Vineyard, where she bolstered her creative skills with hands-on experience in customer service, event coordination, and hospitality management.
When she’s not creating lists and assigning tasks, Laura maintains an active creative life away from Cassel Bear, painting canvases at home and scenery at the Canton Players Guild. She loves spending time with friends and family, as well as her mischievous golden retriever, Chester. She’s a fan of a good book, an entertaining movie, or anything new in the food and drink industries.
What Laura rocks: project management, administration, customer service, developing systems and processes, creative brainstorming, dressin’ fancy for work, and a good strong glass of bourbon.
